Please interpret this dream from a spiritual and metaphysical standpoint… including any possible signs from Archangel St. Michael to me, a vilified crime victim who called on him yesterday: Getting blamed for or possibly responsible for a su*cide cult I had this dream last night where I was back in my senior year of college (same roommates, similar apartment). But instead of early 00s technology and etc it had, eg a flat-screen TV. I was also physically disabled in the dream, which didn’t happen until the late 2010s. I was aware of my kids (born in the 2010s) but they were with my parents. Not sure about my husband (met him in mid-00s). I was there talking with my roommates about boys and what kind of pizza to order (which made me so happy - it’s been since the late 2010s that I’ve felt accepted or welcome anyplace) when the FBI came in and accused me of kidnapping a bunch of people. All of a sudden the apartment was packed with people dressed in black sweats and imitation black chucks… I told the cops they were full of shit but when I was done calling a lawyer my roommates had split and all the people were gone. Just their shoes left turned upside down. FBI told me they were booking me for leading a su*cide cult and good luck getting into law school now (that was never on the table IRL). They let me choose which funky vintage car I wanted them to drive me to prison in. The lawyer came to get me, a casual friend from college who is now a big time medical scientist IRL, and sprung me from the police car but said I was not yet out of danger. I told him, “Oh it’s fine, this is just a dream.” He said, “So then why don’t you wake up before something else bad happens because this is really weird. We need get back to our real families and jobs.” Then he vanished. But I couldn’t wake up so I walked down the street looking for pizza. I woke up before I could find a pizza place. (Also I now have stomach problems due to the physical injuries inflicted on me… usually tomato sauce is a no-go). Trying to figure out WTF this dream means. I don’t do drugs or drink. Sometimes this does happen where I realize it’s a dream, try to wake up, but can’t… but usually when I tell someone that they can’t hear me or don’t believe me. I’ve never had someone be in the know like that. Also yesterday I started meditating with an Archangel I’ve been praying to for awhile. I survived an attempted m*rder a few years ago (see physically disabled) and a lot of people tried to blame me for somehow provoking this random psycho. (More likely than not, I was targeted for demographic reasons). Come to think of it, this could have been a push to just resume work on a novel I’d been writing that involved some elements described above.
Your dream is rich with symbolism and layered meanings, especially given your spiritual context and recent experiences. Let's break it down from both a spiritual and metaphysical standpoint, including possible signs from Archangel St. Michael.
Returning to your senior year of college signifies a period of nostalgia, reflection, and perhaps unresolved feelings from that time in your life. The presence of your past roommates and the familiarity of the apartment suggests a longing for the sense of community and support you felt back then. This is a reminder of a time when you felt accepted, contrasting sharply with your current feelings of vilification and isolation as a crime victim.
The presence of your physical disability in the dream may reflect your ongoing struggles and the ways in which you perceive your own limitations—both physically and emotionally. This symbolizes vulnerability, but it also suggests resilience as you navigate through challenging circumstances.
Being accused by the FBI of leading a suicide cult is extremely powerful. This reflects deep-seated fears of judgment, blame, and the weight you may feel from society as a crime victim. The cult symbolizes feelings of entrapment or being misrepresented, where you may feel others are viewing your experiences through a distorted lens.
The sudden disappearance of your roommates and their shoes left upside down could symbolize feelings of abandonment or betrayal by those you once trusted. The shoes represent paths or journeys, and their disconnection signifies a chaotic and confusing state of affairs in your current reality.
The casual friend who becomes a significant figure in your dream might represent a part of you that recognizes the absurdity of the situation. His remark about waking up before something else bad happens suggests an urgent need for self-awareness and a reminder that you have the power to escape your troubling thoughts.
The quest for pizza may symbolize a search for comfort and pleasure amidst distress. Food often represents nourishment, both physically and emotionally, suggesting you might be seeking ways to heal and find joy again after all your hardships.
The ability to know you were dreaming signifies awareness and consciousness—perhaps a lesson in recognizing that even in the darkest times, you have the power to shift your reality. This awareness connects deeply to your spiritual practices, especially your recent meditation with Archangel St. Michael.
Archangel Michael is often associated with protection, courage, and truth. Calling on him suggests a desire for guidance and strength. In your dream, he may be urging you to confront the shadows of your past and remind you that you are not alone in your struggles. The struggle against injustice can reflect Michael's essence as a warrior of light, encouraging you to reclaim your narrative.
The elements that resonate with your novel indicate that your subconscious may be working through the trauma you’ve experienced, transforming pain into creative expression. It may be a call from your higher self to use your experiences as a source of inspiration for healing and storytelling.
Overall, this dream may serve as a complex tapestry of your fears, desires, and spiritual growth. It reflects your struggle with perceived blame, the need for acceptance, and the importance of grounding yourself in truth and resilience. Continue to meditate and call upon Archangel Michael, allowing that energy to guide you toward healing and empowerment.
As you move forward, consider how you can integrate the lessons from this dream into your waking life—be it through writing, further spiritual practices, or seeking out supportive communities that affirm your worth and experiences.
